what a turn around from the last 3 games! our OL got healthy and they pushed FSU around especially in the th qtr.

hit by morrison knocking out manuel too.. i agree about the line. i've been pretty critical of them the last few weeks but they really haven't been completely healthy

I thought we actually won the game in the first half. The TOP was unreal and their D was sucking wind and on their heels after that. We just had to be close enough late in the game to finish them off. Those long drives in the first half won this game.

I have a hard time believing the Gators can score offensive touchdowns today. FSU's defense may not have played many decent teams this year and their ratings and stat's are definitely deceiving to say the least. On the other hand, our offensive line sucks (even healthy), and we are haven't been able to score points on anyone lately, with or without Driskel. no way do we win on the road today. Criminoles by at least 10. This is gonna be ugly.

I was too riveted to post during game. I was beaming the TV with
my Muschamp-mojo stare.So, here's what got earned today : (IMHO)

1) Can't fault posters in wailing for an effective "big-league" offense
'cause that's what UF-Gators put up today. AND versus the ACC's
#1 offense in the world & vs. ACC refs.

2) Kudos to "Classo'78" for holding gsmb's rudder straight & true.

3) Hip-hooray, for Gilly, a great gator thru & thru.(140 yds./24 tries)

4) Congrats & big appreciation to Matt Jones (80 yds./10 tries)

5) FSU's #1 D came in yielding just 70 yds/G ........ UF got 244
*** FSU's #1 D came yielding 236 total yds./G........ UF got 394

6) Too many Gator-D stars to write: Floyd, Elam, Roberson, on & on

7) Roberson's 50 yard punt return longest since 2004

8) Gilly was stopped by one tackler then helmet-speared by a 2nd guy.
*** No penalty, no protection for SEC guys ?

9) Driskel felt his damaged ankle from the start, but he gutted it out.
*** and led UF to an 11-1 season... beating 4 top 10 teams. No other
QB in BCS can claim that . This sophomore QB will improve.

10) This Gator team has taken us on a Mystical Magical Mystery Tour.

Hope Notre Dame turns out to be another FSU overrated BCS team?

I just got home from work...What did I miss?? LOL I'm about to watch the game on DVR. GO GATORS!! This is what happens when you play against ACC competition...you get STEAMROLLED and OWNED and DOMINATED and DESTROYED. We wore FSU out and ran the ball down their throats. I am very proud of this team and for us to go 11-1 is just frigging unbelievable. Hey FSU fans and Gator Haters like RH Factor, Law98, and Rommell...HOWS THAT ONE TASTE GUYS!!??!!?? Go Gators!!

Great offensive game plan for the most part against a "top" defense. We are just way more physical than FSU, wore them down, and just flat out dominated them. Driskel did not look like he was injured to me at all. Congrats to Gilly on the 1000 yard season too! Go Gators!!

Our offensive line was healthy and showed up, our RB's ran hard and wore out the Noles, and Driskell took care of the ball and passed well enough to maintain some balance.
It's a WIN.
Give the Dawgs credit in JAX, but we lost that game more than they won!
We need to recruit the baddest OL's and DL's every year to keep the toughness going........and our "O" will continue to develop and improve with better WR's on the way. Just look at our RB recruits that will mix with Jones and Brown-------should be powerful!
