Re: Ole Miss vs. LSU
where was this Ol' Miss team a couple of weeks ago when we needed them to beat UGA?

They are playing good defense so far.
Well, OM can't field a punt, so LSU gets an early break.

it's amazing to see Ol' Miss' QB stand there for five seconds and then throw a 20 yeard pass. That goes to show you what good O-Line blocking can do. Our QB's haven't had that long to wait for receivers to get open in 3 years.

Gave Up 296 Yards in 1st Half Because of Horrible Play, Not Ole Miss (Posted on 11/17/12 at 4:12 p.m.)
Ole Miss is not doing anything special. LSU is just playing awful, especially the DBs.
This is all on us. Reminds me of the Arkansas game in 2011. Oh yeah, we have that one coming up next week. Nice.

Ole Miss is trying to help with turnovers etc - without those it'd be even worse!

We still look like the better team.
Not at all. Top to bottom they are out coavhing, out playing LSU.
Even with the two turnovers.
I can't recall the last time I've seen an LSU team so dominated on both side of the line. We're fortunate to be behind by only 4 instead of 28. I'm not panicking, just stating the obvious—either an entirely different team shows up in the second half or we lose in one of the most embarrassing games ever at TS.

Mettenberger is getting good. Ops, OM just intercepted in its own EZone. Turnover in OM's favor.
This one may go down to the wire. LSU seems to not be able to punch it in today.

Ol' Miss answers, 35-28. This is a great game but man if Ol' Miss wins its going to hurt our SOS.

Boy, the SEC sure is full of potent offenses.
So many keep getting better as the season goes.

Re: Ole Miss vs. LSU
Ole Miss is a lot better than they were last year when they got beat bad and just quit. This year they have played most games they have lost close and have had TexasA&M, Vanderbilt, and LSU on the run only to run out of gas in the end. Small on defense, smurf running back in Jeff Scott, erratic quarterback play from Bo Wallace who is great one play and awful the next, but still play with a lot of heart.

Potent offense but Ole Miss has a 5-6 record, and I believe we beat LSU didn't we? I'll take our offense and our record.
