Scottie Wilbekin suspension - Rumor - UPDATED

Depending on how you look at it. I was told from someone that sometimes has inside information on the athletic programs that the suspension related to Wilbekin is drug related and he actually may be kicked off the team.

Again, I am admitting this is hearsay and may or may not be true and I am not trying to start rumors, but since no info has been given on the reason behind the suspension, I just thought I would share what I heard.

Reading between the lines, it appears pretty clear that he flunked a drug test and that it is his first failed test.

My understanding of how it works is:
1st test = suspension for 10% of the sport (Basketball = 4 games/Football = 1 game, etc.)
2nd test = 50% of the sport (football 6 games/basketball 15, etc.)
3rd test = Good bye

Given the four game suspension and Billy's comments, i'd say he flunked a drug test and Billy's "uncertainty" comments relate to the potential for another failed test. If Scottie stays clean then the story is over.

We do not suspend players for a first failed drug test at UF. Only UK and UGA do in the SEC.
