To all my fellow Vets "Happy Veteran's Day" I myself have done three deployments to Iraq and know the hardships that we have endured.

So once again "Happy Veteran's Day" and I hope everyone has a great weekend. And if you happen to bump into a Vet just tell him or her Thank You!! It really does mean something to us that has served that we are still appreciated by this great Nation.

So was my pops. 173rd Air Mobile. 22 years, 9 months and 14 days served. He then spent another 18 running the Department of Veteran's Affairs at the VA here in Gainesville.

I'll go have a beer with him on Monday.

Holy Cow! I'm going to have to seriously plan out my weekend. I'll be in the ER on Tuesday if anyone's looking for me. :)

Vietnam era vet here that spends the day honoring other vets and their service to our country. All of us need to make sure this country keeps its commitment to our vets, especially those who were wounded, disabled and diminished. Never forget MIAs and those that gave all.

Excellent, tell your dad thanks we owe him.
I sat on a runway once for 36 hours waiting to take off and jump into Granada when we had a University there with Americans attending that were scared for their lives. Clint Eastwood and his Marines ( Heart Break Ridge ) took care of it and we stood down. That's the closet I got to combat and glad that was it.

Thank you and agreed, let Obama fly his drones and continue to fight it a lot harder to hit one of those with a ied. We have no reason to be there, they don't want us there, we did what we wanted to do and if they can't protect their own country by now then they are just to stupid to even help.
