I don't think he was talking about the bowl game but rather who we'd rather play over the next two weeks instead of the cream puffs are on the schedule. In which case I'd love to see us play Texas and probably USCw. Not every year because our schedule is tough enough but sprinkle them in? I wouldn't mind getting Southern Miss on there again or at the worst UCF again. I like our schedule next year; it's looks to be very challenging but with a few semi-easy games to get players healthy and rested during the season.

Look at our out of conference opponents for 2013:

Toledo - helluva opener against a very good team this year

scUM - might be the breather of the four

Georgia Southern - sure FCS level, but they run a wicked flexbone offense that is a pain to prep for in one week

Semenholes - in the Swamp rivalry game

Most of those suggestions won't just play in Gville, so they are out. The folks we want are whoever is cheap to bribe and somewhat decent. After we play these two teams some may not be calling them creampuffs since we might struggle at least on O.

Wouldn't want to play anyone else. I think the #4, #7, and #10 ranked teams in a row was good enough for me. Now we have the #9 ranked team in 2 weeks and if a miracle happens, the #1 ranked team. Nah, I'm good.

Yup, had too many threads open in my head at once.

The answer is none. I'd like our QB to have the next two weeks off and have him listening to his QB coach and repping the simple stuff again.

We have 2 off weeks in 2013 like the good old days. One of them is the week before UGA. I don't know if they have the same week off.

If we gave up a home game every other year to schedule a home-and-home w/ one of those teams the real question would be, "Which Woman's sport do we get rid of...and what do we do when we are found to be in violation of Title IX laws?"
