Bad Luck For Gators...
POTENTIALLY we have an 11-1 Florida football team playing in Outback Bowl? Sad Reality...Special Thanks to LUCKY Georgia or Alabama for taking our Sugar Bowl bid and the SEC for being so DOMINATELY balanced, if that makes ANY sense...

Who really cares what bowl we play in if it isn't for the NC?

Yes, but aside from that there isn't much to care about.

Why would Bama get the Sugar bowl bid? If they lose tonight, there won't be an undefeated SECCG winner, and I'm not sure the winner would play for the MNC. The winner of the SECCG would go to the Sugar bowl.

SEC Championship/National Championship aspirations DIED in Jacksonville...Get over it, spoiled Gator mates! BCS bowl bid is the BEST we can do now! The more you put your HOPES into an Auburn/Georgia upset, the more you're setting yourself up for ANOTHER UGA heartbreak! If it happens, it happens but it's unlikely!

No, but you could have an exciting Orange Bowl featuring scUm or Semenholes against Louisville or Rutgers.

Absolutely, so long as it is 2002 or so.

If UF beats FSU, we should be in the BCS unless UGA LOSES TO AUBURN or UGA Upsets Bama. Yeah, there ARE other scenerios beside this, such as UF Beating, Bama.
It appears UGA's win over UF will still put them on the outside looking in.
If they beat Auburn they are still tied with UF for the SEC East Crown. However, their win over us gives them the right to go to the Champtionship game.
Quite honestly, a win over FSU and a BCS Bowl game would make this a really Good Year. Not a perfect year, but a really good year being in the SEC.

If UF beats FSUck a 11-1 UF will could be in a BCS bowl over a 10-2 UGAly.

Exactly. No reason Ga has a lock on the Sugar Bowl if they lose to Bama in Atlanta and we somehow find a way to beat FSU. That would make Ga a two loss team and us as the only one loss team in the conference.

As far as bowl money, doesn't it get equally shared throughout the conference(yes even the doormats) after expenses?
Point is, if it ain't the NCG, I would rather see a good matchup at a good location that we can overwhelm with fans. Cotton Bowl would be interesting, but it's a hike. More than likely, NOLA, Tampa or Orlando. Thoughts?

A BCS Bowl game would certainly mark a nice season. If we beat FSU, and Bama beats UGA (mark that one down as a given), we should be in.
If UGA loses to Auburn, we make the SECCG for the right to get stomped by Bama and get an extra loss, likely knocking us out of a BCS Bowl game.
I look at it as: if we beat FSU, it will be a very successful season: 11+ wins, and either an SEC East crown or a BCS Bowl bid. If we lose to FSU, it's still a nice improvement from last year, but a bit of a hollow feeling if we lose to our 2 biggest rivals and don't even go to Atlanta.

No it does not. We keep half then share the other half with the conference (which gets split evenly).
