Who's going to Vandy Game?

I've doing some work up here in Nashvegas, and am going to the Vandy game. Anyone else from the boards going to make it?

Friday night at Hard Rock downtown nashville. The Gator Clubs from around the area are having a huge pep rally. The Gator Marching band and cheerleaders will be there. FYI.

i freaking love Nashville and it's one of the shortest trips for me to make but won't make it this year...going to gville for the usce game next week instead. Friday night pep rally is usually really fun

I was going but life and work conspired to shoot me down. I have been to the Nashville game mult. times and enjoy that place. In fact I am eating an airline ticket I bought in June from Jax to Nville I was supposed to fly out on this afternoon.

I went to the stadium yesterday...walked onto the field, onto the 50 yard line. Place is tiny compared to Florida Field. The baseball stadium is literally attached to the football stadium. Very nice. The baseball players were taking bp....

Yes, Hawkins Field (baseball) sits right behind Vanderbilt Stadium (Dudley Field). That brick building beyond the Green Monster left field fence is Memorial Gym (basketball). I saw Matt LaPorta of the Gators hit one out over that fence and the ball landed up on the roof (the lower roof) of Memorial Gym. Great venue for college baseball.

I know you can look this up yourself, but I was interested also. Hawkins field seats 3,700 (2,200 chairbacks and 1,500 bleachers) according to Wikipedia article.

Vanderbilt Stadium (football) seats 40,550. The old Vanderbilt Stadium was known as Dudley Field, and I believe that the actual field is still known by that name.
