UNBELIEVABLE LSU reason for the loss
You are just not going to believe the reason that the LS Who? players are giving for their loss to us. As printed in today's online USAToday:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2012/10/10/lsu-says-heat-led-to-florida-loss/1623577/
The URL says it all, but you still have to read it.
Sure, it was hot, and I felt dizzy (until I bought some Gatorade) in the first half, but as my wife reminded me when I got home to Savannah, I'm not young anymore (I turned 57 the day after the game). But these guys are college athletes, all between 18 and 22 years of age. And the Tigers go to school, practice, and play in Baton Rouge, not exactly a desert. What a real lame excuse

Crazy talk! Sure, it was warm.....maybe even a little hot in the first. But once the sun moved behind the sky boxes, it was a nice night with a cool breeze.

I was at the USF game - people passing out right and left - I almost left early (1st half early) and DID leave with something like 5 to 7 minutes left. It was hot Saturday, but NOT as hot as the USF game, which is #1 on my Gator "heat-o-meter." #2 would be the win over the Hogs in 2004 - I thought at the half of that one that if the 2nd half didn't move quickly (and the Hogs came back, slowing the game down), I'd just leave. I didn't, but it was so hot that during halftime I just sat under the overhang of the S Endzone upper deck, in the shade.

I was at the USF game with my nephew. I was more worried about him than myself. He is a trooper and plays summer baseball every year so it didn't phase him in the least. Though we did refill the Gatorade bottles with water many times.
Everyone leaving that game looked wilted.

Well they have an excuse all ready for Saturday's game against The GameCocks:
A public service: It'll be 86 degrees in Baton Rouge on Saturday, when the Tigers host South Carolina, with humidity at 67 percent. Man, that's Gainesville weather. How will the Tigers cope?

I was sloppily drunk, wearing khakis and an Oxford. I don't want to hear about the heat, it was nothing compared to past games. Big fat pssys they are.
Boobs were here.

Just goes to show you how important thread title is!
It is hilarious that they are blaming the heat, but they don't want to admit that Florida is just better.

I am glad they are using excuses...it just makes them look worse and us look all the more better. They got their butts handed to them and the world knows it and all the excuses in the world wont change that fact.

Their coach must have been cold, he was wearing a long sleeve jacket.

Wasn't the wind swirling on field level?

It's a good thing we didn't make them wear purple, they might have all passed out!

And that explains why Gator-players played so much hotter than
those Tigers.
those Tigers.

Of the three home games this year, this one was by far the most bearable. These guys would have forfeited the game at halftime if they played the day of the BG game.

Some other associated excuses:
We did not know that it was warm in Gville in October.
UF took our Gatoraid away from us.
Gatoraid being invented at UF does not work for any of their opponents.
We switched to Poweraid and it does not work in a swamp.
We got tired due to admiring the statue of Tebow too long before the game.
Our summer was spent in air conditioned comfort our spring training as well.
All BS. Now they were injured etc., but you don't run 25 plays like we did against folks who are tired from the heat. The D can rotate players, we sure did.
