Memphis Tigers ROARING Since Christmas Day Loss
it's been quite a run. The University of Memphis has smacked down 15 straight wins since a heartbreaking loss to old rival Louisville. Some fans whisper its the stirring of the 3 ghosts of Gene Bartow, Dana Kirk and Larry Finch. Tiger fans are also reveling in the current glorious meltdown of the legendary Kentucky Wildcats and their famous one and done basketball guru and infamous backstabber, John Calipari. The Vols beat them by 35 today. I don't know about you but I'm loving it.
All I know is the 3 favorite words of folks in Memphis are ...
GO TIGERS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I realize the Gators are having a small Renaissance this year but you don't want any part of Memphis. Beware and be wise.
21-3 Overall
10-0 Conference USA

Funny, you won't mention UT. I forgot Memphis hoops still existed.

Ranked anywhere from 23 to 25 depending on the poll. Of course ranking is secondary to the playoffs and seeding positions.

Last night the Tigers took down the Thundering Herd of Marshall. That win adds one more to the streak now standing at 16. Don't look now but Memphis is moving on up.
Tiger fans will ask me why I bring up Florida in a B Ball discussion. After all they don't have the rich tradition of Memphis State basketball. (Now the U of M) I tell them they may not have our tradition but they have back to back National Championships. Unlike the thief in the night, John Calipari, they have a coach with winning skills and integrity.
That being said I would love see Memphis to hook up with Florida at some point in the NCAA playoffs. Think of the crowing heaven I would enjoy should the Tigers devour the Gators.

When your stupid threads die out, you always bump them yourself. Dude, take the hint.
