Tennessee's Rick Barnes scores the transfer from Howard University, the nation's highest scorer ....James Daniel.  6 feet, 175 lbs.  Averaging 27.1 points per game, Daniel has had numerous games with scoring over 30 points.  He had offers from Ohio State, Michigan, and DePaul before committing to the VOLS.

Man, he'll fit right in coming from a team that went 12-20 during his last year in the MEAC. Purdue beat them by 40.

He gets slapped up side the face, and turns the other cheek and says, 'Lord, forgive them for they know not what they're doing.' I'm probably more of an Old Testament guy. You spear our guy in the earhole, we think we're supposed to spear you in the earhole. That's kind of where we're a little different." - SOS

He led the NCAA in scoring TWO years ago, not last year.  He really torched teams from Maryland Eastern Shore, Radford, Central Arkansas, Central Pennsylvania, UMBC (wherever the heck that is), Copulating State.

Put another trophy on the shelf. tennessee just won the May 23rd national championship.

I seriously doubt a player from a 12-20 team will help improve the Vols 16-16 (8-10 SEC) record. The Vols will soon look for another basketball coach. There is a reason Rick Barnes got fired at Texas.

Problem is, the 5 Vols hoops players from the past several seasons have sucked, just like your washed up retread coach who got sh** canned at Texas.

Getting fired at Texas? Leading the Vols to a losing record during his 2 seasons as Vols coach? Uh, yeah! He's a real threat compared to the Gator fans
