What's a Sports Business Award and how does it compare to a Champion of Life trophy? Does it come used from The Salvation Army? Like your uniforms? I guess there were 156,990 people in tennessee and Virginia that didn't have working TVs that day.

The event would deserve the award IF they had a stock car race as the game was being played.

Jealous of what? The Gator's 31 national championships in all sports compared to tennessee's 16? Since Pat Summitt is gone there may never be another one in Knoxvillage.

For your edification, IQof54, go to any school (you do know what a school is, don't you?) and you may find a dictionary, ehhh, maybe not in tennessee. Blow the dust off and get someone to read, and define, some of the words to you. You'll be surprised that there are a great many words in there that you can use beside vulgarity when you can't come up with a witty reply.

By the way, The National Wildlife Federation was very surprised to learn that there are grizzly bears in tennessee. The spokesperson I talked to said it may have actually been a yeti or one of tennessee's better looking wimmin.

Speak for yourself suwannee... I, for one, am extremely jealous that tennessee is getting such a prestigious award. I'm sure this is going to be huge news in the sports world let me go check ESPNs front page.

I guess if you can't win anything of real significance then this type of thing is at least something.

Lets not forget this important point!

Are those championships in football alone?

Of course not, because we are an EVERYTHING SCHOOL!

What's sad about this, if they even get the award for the event, is splitting it with Va Tech and the state of Virginia.

You'll lose to the cubs, don't worry.

On illegal hits against Danny Wuerffel: "He's like a New Testament person. He gets slapped up side the face, and turns the other cheek and says, 'Lord, forgive them for they know not what they're doing.' I'm probably more of an Old Testament guy. You spear our guy in the earhole, we think we're supposed to spear you in the earhole. That's kind of where we're a little different." - SOS

The track and site of the game may be in Tennessee, but the event was hosted by both cities, Bristol Virginia and Bristol Tennessee.  That's why teams from Virginia and Tennessee participate.

The Vols can only take half credit for the event - just like everything else they do.
