Has Mark Thompson signed his paperwork yet? He's the only EE that I've not heard yet. The rest of the EE already committed have sent theirs in.

Anyone know where he is projected? Seems like a big mistake to me to leave this year with what appears to me to be a glut of much better RBs ahead of him. He did not have a season to impress me if I was an NFL scout.

My initial impression is "WHOA - we are way thin at RB!". Then I realized this will only be an issue if we don't have a QB emerge. And if that happens, none of it will matter.

I believe we got a huge upgrade from KT to Thompson.

As for KT leaving early, it was a smart move. He wouldn't have helped his draft status by staying the extra year.

A couple of the draft analysts I checked specifically said he should have returned for his senior season. ... for what it's worth.

This guy could be better than anything we have had in a long time.  Big, strong and very fast.  In high school  he had the 2nd fastest 200m time in his state.   As long as he doesn't have fumblitis, he could be a big deal.

If these 4 can keep their noses clean and stay on top of their academics......our backfield is gonna be wicked!! Size, speed, quickness.....they just need to run downhill!! Potential is there, so we'll see how well Coach Mac can pull it out of them.
